I scream,you scream,we all scream for Ice-cream.When the king of fruits and the iced creams go in a bowl,they form heavenly dessert- the Mango Mist ice-cream.As it is summer and everyone is looking for something soothing ,I share another mango recipe of mine rich,creamy and full of mango with you all.I am sure you gonna love this.
Preparation Time:15 minutes
Freezing Time:12 hours (4 hour + 8 hour)
2 cups Heavy whipped cream
1/2 cup condensed milk
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
5-6 mango slices
Hershey’s chocolate syrup
Take the pulp out of the mangoes and make puree out of them.In a large bowl,add heavy cream and whisk them to form soft peaks.Add condensed milk,sugar and vanilla extract and fold them.As I have used condensed milk,I have reduced the amount of sugar.The amount of sugar also depends on the sweetness of mango.Now add the mango puree to the cream mixture and mix well.Pour the content in a container and freeze for about 4-5 hours.
Take the content out of container from the freezer.Currently,they are in a semi-frozen state.Using a mixer or blender,churn them again for about 5 minutes till they become soft and smooth.Pour the content back in the container and wrap it with a cling film or plastic.The plastic should touch the content.This will prevent ice formation.Freeze it for 7-8 hours.(Please don’t open the freezer door and peep in.:p)
Scoop out in a bowl and garnish with mango slices.I love topping it with dry fruits and chocolate syrup.
