A similar version of my previous post, “Eggless Walnut Brownies”. This is for the one who are hard core chocoholics. With just a simple replacement of dark choco chips, you have a simple flat baked square dessert. These easy to bake brownies are the best for your little tots, small hungers, parties and even short breaks. The best part of the delicacies are they can be baked with variations like peanut butter, marshmallows, nutella or even crushed biscuits of your choice.
Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Baking Time: 25 minutes
1 cup All purpose flour
½ cup cocoa powder
½ cup grated dark chocolate
1 cup brown sugar
½ cup Refine oil
1 tsp baking powder
¼ tsp baking soda
½ cup dark chocolate chips
½ cup whole milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
A procedure similar to the walnut brownies with just a simple replacement of walnut kernels with dark chocolate chips.
Pre heat the oven at 180 °C or 356 °F.
Melt the dark chocolates in a double boiler or microwave.
In a large bowl, sieve all purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and baking soda. In another bowl, whisk the oil and sugar till they change their color and turn fluffy.
Add the dry ingredients to the oil batter and mix. Mix using cut and fold method. Now, add in the melted chocolate and mix again. Add milk to make a smooth batter. Finally, add the vanilla extract and chocolate chips and mix.
Pour the batter in a greased pan. Place the pan in the pre-heated oven and bake for 25 minutes at 180 °C or 356 °F.
Once the brownies are ready, place them in a wire rack to cool for another 15-20 minutes.
Cut into square pieces. Dust some icing sugar over the top. You can also top it with some walnut kernels. Serve along with a scoop of ice-cream or drizzle some hot chocolate syrup.
