What to cook when you have sudden guests at home and you wanna show off your skills? This is a big question that comes to almost everyone’s mind and then there is a huge panic. We start to check our cupboards, refrigerators moving our eyes from one corner to another in search of an idea. This recipe is the answer to all your queries. Super easy, stylish and takes no time to cook. In today’s time, we all have breads and cheese at home and if you have these two ingredients, your plate is ready to get served. Simply cut the bread slices in your favourite shapes, butter them, add cheese and bake them. That’s it!! Isn’t it extremely easy? So, now let me share a complete recipe.

Preparation Time: 5 minutes

Baking Time: 5-7 minutes

Servings: 2-4

Ingredients:

8-10 bread slices

1 tsp butter

3-4 processed cheese cubes

Mixed Italian seasonings

Coriander to garnish

Tomato ketchup to serve

Procedure

Pre-heat the oven or microwave for 5 minutes at 180 °C.

Cut the bread slices along the sides and remove the brown edges. Shape them as per your desire. I used a curvy cookie cutter to give a nice curved texture along the sides.

Butter them generously. Place the bread slices one above the other and add the grated cheese in between the buttered bread slices. You can use any cheese of your choice. I used Amul processed cheese. I placed 3 slices one above the other as it neither too high nor too low while baking and serving.

Sprinkle some mixed Italian seasonings all along.  Place the ready to bake bread slices on the baking tray and bake them for about 5-7 minutes or till their color turns golden. The crispy, crunchy and cheesy discs are ready to serve.

Garnish with coriander leaves and serve with tomato ketchup.
