Breads come in varied looks and tastes. It is impossible to get every kind of bread near you. But, that doesn’t mean you can’t try them out. Read out my recipes and bake them at home. The recipe and process is as simple as it looks. The look of the sunflower is so amazing that you won’t feel like plucking the petals, but the cheesy smell will force you to grab a bite. Everyone in my family loves bread, be it any recipe or simply bread and butter. As it is weekend, I thought of baking a new bread pizza that makes a complete meal and is loved by all. So, here is a simple recipe to make a sunflower bread that has tantalizing flavours, melting cheese, aromatic pizza fragrances and meaty stuffing. The stuffing can be as per your choice, be it a vegetarian or a non-vegetarian filling. Here, I tried with minced chicken stuffing, but the same can be made with cottage cheese/ paneer, spinach and cheese as well. The procedure might sound a bit lengthy but don’t give up as hard work and time does pay back.
Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Baking Time: 15-20 minutes
Proofing Time: 2 hours (approx)
For the dough
2 cup All Purpose Flour + 1/2 -3/4 cup for dusting
1 tbsp Dry Active Yeast
1/2 cup lukewarm water
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp Sunflower oil/ melted butter
For the Stuffing:
250 Gms minced chicken
1 big onion (chopped)
2 green chilies (chopped)
1 tsp ginger paste
1 tsp garlic paste
1 tsp Turmeric powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp red chili powder
Freshly chopped coriander leaves
Salt to taste
1 tbsp Sunflower oil
Grated mozzarella cheese
Grated processed/ cheddar cheese
For the Dough
In a small bowl, add lukewarm water and sugar and stir. Now, add dry active yeast and stir again. Keep aside for 10 minutes till the froth is formed.
In a large bowl, add All purpose flour, salt and butter and mix. Add the frothed yeast mixture to the dough and knead them well. Kneading helps to form gluten. Knead the dough using the mount of Venus of your palm (the mounted area below your thumb in the palm area).
After kneading for 8-10 minutes, roll them into a log and keep aside for proofing. Let it proof till it doubles in volume. It might take around 2 hours for the 1st proofing. After proofing, punch the bread to remove all air and spread them all along to form a pizza base.
Prepare two pizza spread sheets- one for base and the other for cover.

Heat a pan and add oil.
