Keto lava mug cake

I am a chocoholic who loves chocolate in any form. Chocolate cakes, cupcakes, cake pops, lava cakes, chocolate shakes and chocolate ice creams are my biggest weakness. One can easily bribe me at the cost of these chocolates. As I cannot keep myself away from them for long, I relish them and then run extra miles to stay fit. Silly!!! but thats how I convince myself.  Now a days, many people are following Keto diet to stay slim and fit. I, personally believe in eating everything(but in less proportions). I don’t resist while eating. After all one life and so many recipes to taste. I cannot dare to put myself on diet. This recipe for all the Keto lovers will knock their socks. This is an extremely simple and delicious recipe with low carb chocolate and gooey lava inside.  Why to go to costly shops; you can enjoy them with your favorite toppings or ice creams at home.

Preparation Time: 2 minutes

Baking Time: 2 minutes

Ingredients:

4 tbsp Hershey’s cocoa powder
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp vanilla essence
1 egg
1 tbsp homemade fresh cream (malai)
2 tbsp Splenda
1/4 tsp salt
2 cube of Compound chocolate

Procedure

This is an extremely easy way of making Keto’s lava mug cake. In a mug, seive cocoa powder, salt and baking powder.
Add in fresh cream and egg and whisk well. The eggs need to be whisked really well to form nice aeration.
(You can whisk the egg separately in another bowl also.)
Now add the sugar and vanilla essence and mix again. Insert the compound chocolate cube in the batter.
Turn on the microwave and place the mug inside. Bake it for 2 minutes (timing might vary with microwave brands).
(Do not over bake as the lava might not form.)
Take the mug out and check if its done. (If it is jiggly, bake it again for few more seconds).
For me, the lava cake got ready in exactly 2 minutes. It was amazing and a proper lava inside.
Serve with chocolate syrup or vanilla ice cream.
